At the heart of my philosophy is the belief that every person’s story, experiences, and needs are unique. Through individualized, relationship-based care, I strive to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
I believe care should never be one-size-fits-all. Each family deserves thoughtful, collaborative care that honors their values, preferences, and goals while providing evidence-based information and support along the way. I value trust, open communication, and walking alongside clients as they make informed decisions that feel right for them.
As a midwife, I am committed to continuous learning and providing holistic care that supports physical, emotional, and mental well-being. My goal is to offer compassionate, personalized care that recognizes the individuality of every family and creates an empowering and meaningful birth experience.

“Lauren was a fantastic midwife at my birth. She encouraged me to breathe down my baby, to feel his head slowly coming out. She kept me calm and focused after birthing my baby, allowing me to receive the active management with tinctures and Pitocin that I needed. When my big kids woke up to meet their new brother, she was patient and explained all 8 million answers to their 8 million questions. Lauren has been patient, kind, and thoughtful as my midwife and I would happily have another baby with her if I became pregnant again.
